Rubbing Alcohol for Clogged Pores?

Will rubbing alcohol used on the face help with clogged pores. Astringents do not help.|||No, you%26#039;ll dry out the top layer of skin. Your pores will make more oil to bring it back to normal, and you%26#039;ll get even more clogs. Find a BHA product to exfoliate.|||I don%26#039;t know if it will help with clogged pores but it will dry your face out like crazy get a deep pore cleanser St. Ives makes one it is a good product. And there are allot of others out there you just have to find one that is right for your skin. You also need a good moisturizer if you breakout make sure it%26#039;s oil-free.

Good luck hope this helped|||No!! Don%26#039;t use that! Alcohol is terrible for skin. It dries skin up and whatnot. For clogged pores, use either an Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) like Glycolic, Lactic, or Malic Acid (preferably an alcohol-free one) or a Beta Hydroxy Acid like Salicylic Acid.|||okay i know you said astringents dont help but yesterday i bought an astringent called sea breeze astringent and it was only like $4 for a 16 oz bottle and it works realyyy good on my pores. it made them so much smaller, i seriously didn%26#039;%26#039;t know how bad my pores were until they were barely visible, my skin looked so good. you should try it. it also has alcohol in it.|||I use rubbing alcohol it seems to help but only after I wash my make up off with a cloth and a Dove soap bar.|||no it makes them worse. using alcohol dries out your skin clogging the pore even more. use a mild cleanser and non alcohol toner 2x a day. follow with .5 benzol peroxide spot treatment. and moisturize. use the toner several times a day if needed. if you have a bad breakout spot treat it with salicylic acid. not too much though it%26#039;ll burn your skin. getting a facial occasionally will help too.|||don%26#039;t rub alcohol on your face. it irritates the skin. but try cleaning you face and then add some warm oatmeal for about 15 minutes. or you can buy something to help minimize pores
