I have very oily skin and acne also enlarge pores is there anything natural I could use???????

I%26#039;m 25 and have 2 kids. I%26#039;ve been suffering from acne problems since I can remember. I%26#039;ve tried many products including proactive, but they just don%26#039;t seem to work for me. I know I might need to see a dermatologist, but I%26#039;m afraid they%26#039;re to expensive and being a home stayed mom well you can imagine there is no room for that kind of luxury. I%26#039;ve heard that there are some natural ways to keep skin healthy, like making your own face masks, I just dont know what to use. Please help if you know what a can use.|||I, too, have oily, acne-prone skin so I know what it%26#039;s like. I recently became aware of all the toxic synthetic chemicals our government allows manufacturers to put into their products. It is appalling.

Your best bet would be to use 100% ALL NATURAL, CHEMICAL-FREE skin care products. Keep in mind that just because the product may say %26quot;natural%26quot; or %26quot;organic%26quot; DOES NOT mean that it is! There are no regulations on personal care products by the FDA regarding the use of those terms, so many companies use those terms to deceive potential consumers, making them believe that because it says %26quot;natural%26quot; or %26quot;organic%26quot;, it is. Many companies use a drop or two of an essential oil, followed by a long list of synthetic chemicals in their products, claiming their product is %26quot;natural.%26quot; Beware of that. The best thing you can do is READ INGREDIENT LABELS and educate yourself on the thousands of synthetic chemicals, how and why they are toxic, and to stay as far away as possible from any personal care product that contains them.

Acne sufferers are probably one of the biggest targets for deceptive companies. They say,%26quot;This product will clear up your skin%26quot; or %26quot;Our products contain soothing bontanicals that will cure your acne.%26quot; But the truth is, they use toxic, inexpensive (for them to make) chemicals and sell it to the public for several times what it cost to make the product.

We acne sufferers shouldn%26#039;t be putting harmful chemicals on our already inflamed, irritated skin. 100% pure, chemical-free products derived from nature are the best for ANY kind of skin, but especially acne-prone.

It is hard to find those truly 100% all natural, chemical-free products. Even in organic or natural stores they have product after product on their shelves that contain harmful ingredients. Even Whole Foods Market%26#039;s private label personal care products (%26quot;Whole Body%26quot;) contain harmful chemicals such as Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, which when tested on defenseless animals, they experienced eye damage, along with depression, labored breathing, diarrhea, severe skin irritation and corrosion and death.

Here are some companies and their websites that I HIGHLY recommend for personal care products. All of the following companies use only 100% natural, chemical-free ingredients in their products, not to mention that none of them test on animals and they all have signed the Compact for Safe Cosmetics ( http://www.safecosmetics.org/index.cfm..鈥?/a> ).

-Suki ( http://www.sukisnaturals.com/ )

Suki has a facial care line especially for acne-prone skin which are: Exfoliating Lemongrass Cleanser with Chamomile %26amp; Vitamin C, Facial Toner with White Willow, Aloe, Chamomile %26amp; Tea Tree, Transformative Facial Clay with Green Tea, Roses %26amp; White Willow and Facial Moisture Serum with Blue Chamomile %26amp; Echinacea.

-Aubrey Organics ( http://www.aubreyorganics.com/ )

Aubrey Organics has a facial care line especially for oily skin which are: Natural Herbal Facial Cleanser, Natural Herbal Facial Astringent and Natural Herbal Oil Balancing Mask.

-Terressentials ( http://www.terressentials.com/ )

Terressentials doesn%26#039;t have an anti-acne specific facial line but they do have a facial care line for %26quot;all skin types%26quot;, organic body care, hair care, bath care and baby care. They also have a VERY informative website and probably have the purest products that exist. Terressentials is all about the pureness of their products and actually care about their customers and the overall well-being of people in general because they use no chemicals or synthetics in any of their products. Great company, in my opinion.

I know that 100% pure Tea Tree oil is great for healing and soothing acne. You can get this at any health or organic store.

I should mention I%26#039;ve been using the Aubrey Organics Natural Herbal line for oily skin for the last few weeks and in my opinion, it is just %26quot;so-so.%26quot; I applaud the company for being truly natural but for me, the skin care line doesn%26#039;t do anything for my acne or the oilyness of my face. I plan to try the Suki Line mentioned above because it is geared specifically for healing and soothing acne-prone skin.

If you are looking for at-home recipes for making your own natural facial care products, I highly recommend the book Drop Dead Gorgeous by Kim Erickson. Not only is this book extremely informative on the chemicals in cosmetics and personal care products, but there are many homemade recipes for making your own skin care products as well. You can most likely find this book at your local library, which is what I did. Or, of course, you could buy it from somewhere too.

Anywho...good luck! :-)|||my skin is very oily to and i used to have a bad acne problem. eat less sweets don%26#039;t wear heavy makeup an make sure to take it off at night. wash your face twice a day use heat and cold to rise as cold water closes your pores and hot water opens. don%26#039;t pick at your face at all , i know it can be tempting but quit not even one time as that will irritate it and make your face worse. try to keep your hair up during the day and every night especially as your hair contains allot oil that make your face break out. make sure your face it clean at all times. i went through allot of face washes and found that neutrogena worked for me. try out some face washes and see what works for you. trust me it will go away|||use dry face soap...|||Try Bior%26#039; Self Heating Mask..I love that..and its really good.

I too have oily skin but have been able to maintain my pores with aloe vera plant. Ok heres what you do . First you need to buy an aloe vera plant. Preferrably a good size one maybe a friend or family member has one they can give you some to grow @ your home. Well once you have one every night b4 bed cut a piece off the plant about 2 inches long. Wash %26amp; pat dry your face. Then cut off the lil spikes on edges. Then slice the piece of aloe like ur slicin a bagel and rub gooey stuff onto ur face. Now sleep with it on but wait til it dries.b4 going to bed. In morning wash off %26amp; u will feel it turn gooy alll over again. In about two days you%26#039;ll start to feel your skin really soft %26amp; later on it%26#039;ll glow. Good luck.|||If you drink alot of soda, drink less and substitute more water. Also eat plenty of fruits and if you eat fast food instead try eating a little better. Somtimes these things affect people in different ways and I think that acne could be one of them.|||have a home recipe: Squeez one tablespoon of lemon/ crush one piece of garlic/ one tablespoon of water/ then use it, when done put it in refridge. It kind of smells but its worth it/ its for pimples|||Go for a facial treatment|||Witch hazel and tea tree oil are good natural astringents. Using a clay mask weekly will help with the pores too, or you can use egg white and let it dry, then wash off with warm water. Make sure that you moisturize with an oil-free product too-even though you have oily skin- because if you cleanse too often you will take too much of the natural oil away and your skin will overproduce to counteract. Make sure you exfoiliate every few days too-white sugar is a great natural exfoilant. :-)|||I struggled with acne for years and I finally found the solution that works for me. We have been fooled, tricked, deceived, and just plain lied to. It%26#039;s time that someone put a stop to it, and everyone learn the truth!

Those of us who suffer from acne have usually been given 2 choices and neither of them work:

1. Over the counter remedies such as cleansers, creams, ointments, etc. These things have been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.

2. Go see a doctor and or dermatologist. They will generally prescribe prescription drugs which include topicals and or antibiotics. This, too, has been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.

I found a step-by-step program that cured my acne and it has never come back. It is amazing and doesn鈥檛 use any drugs or doctors. The truth is that acne can be cured鈥f we know the secret the doctors and drug companies don鈥檛 want us to know.

This means pores appear to be smaller, giving you a more youthful appearance.%26quot;
