This excessive secretion of oil, might thicken the pores and mar the porcelain quality of skin, leaving the skin coarse.

Steaming your face will open your pores and unplug them. Take extra warm water in a vessel, which is bit deep and which can cover ur face %26amp; neck when u steam. you can also fill the basin with extra warm water ad steam ur face in that. Make sure the water is not very hot. Hold your face over the for 1 to 3 minutes. Make sure the steam coming through the water reaches ur face.


You can also drench a washcloth in lemon and pineapple juice. Place the washcloth firmly on your face for one minute. Then rinse your skin with warm water. Lemon and pineapple juice contain natural enzymes that tighten and firm the face and purify and brighten the skin. Lemon particularly has the ability to cleanse and shrink the appearance of pores. You can purchase lemon juice and pineapple juice from your local grocer.


Apply ice cubes to your face. Place the ice cubes gently along your pores for 15 to 30 seconds. This will have a tightening effect on your skin.


Eat more citrus fruits. Oranges produce firmer skin and rebuild collagen, which may contribute to increasing the elasticity of your skin and reducing your pore walls. Tangerines also have this effect.

Ok, so I%26#039;m all good in the zit department and all that, but my complexion isn%26#039;t all that good evenly wise. I also have huge pores that (even though i am acne free) make my face look like i do have little acne scars/freckles all over.





So any home treatments to suggest? Any good products or brands? Nothing *too* expensive, mind.|||Well I reccommend using a 3 step formula. ( All oil free) A couple times a week...if not 3 exfoliate the skin and also a couple times a week use a clay/sulfur mask...it will help tighten the pores. Other than that, Microdermabrasion/ AHA/BHA Chemical peels will resurface skin, brighten skin, shrink pores.





Go to Sephora and they will reccommend a good 3 step treatment, Clinique also has good facial treatments. For the Micro/Acid peels consult a dermatologist.|||go to the dermatolgist you might have rosica (can%26#039;t spelll)|||You cannot shrink your pores so do not let anyone ever tell you that you can. They are what you are born with and cannot be made smaller|||zits are sexy|||You need a Glycolic face cream. I use it, and it helps with evening my tone, and makes my skin super soft and even. I use Biore strips and manual extraction to get the gunk out. You have to also treat the area with a BHA like salicylic acid. I use Stridex Pads in the red box, they are cheap and effective.|||Well you should not squeeze stuff out of your pores. Keeping them clean can minimize the pore%26#039;s appearance. Don%26#039;t use water that%26#039;s too hot, if you have hard water consider adding baking soda or ACV. After washing your face and neck, use an oil-free toner with a facial cleansing pad to clean your face and neck. Use a fresh one until they come clean, now you have clean skin and pores. Try to keep away from products that are harsh for your skin; regular soaps, perfumed products. Weekly face steaming will keep remove dirt deeply embedded in pores followed with a cool cleansing pad|||You can%26#039;t really make pores smaller, but you can make them appear smaller. I use Biore pore strips to take blackheads off of my nose, and they work really good. If you can get the dirt out of them, they will look smaller.

The best that works for me (hopefully for you as well) are the following.





1. Wash you face in hot water (but not to hot to actually burn your face)


2. Wash your face about two times in cold water (but not too cold, it%26#039;s not good to change temperatures so fast).

I have enlarged pores which I have tried to minimize with a few products but they wont effectively go away.

Thks a lot|||This may sound weird to you, but actually aspirin is a great cleanser. Aspirin has this chemical inside that is what most cleansers have inside. It%26#039;s some kind of Acid and it starts with an S. However, aspirin has TONS more of it compare to 2% of it as in %26quot;normal%26quot; cleansers.

mark k|||I%26#039;m pretty sure these are acne scars not large pores and they do not go away/shrink. They are there for good =) unless some kind of medical procedure can fix it. Mederma did not work for me, I have tons of them! I tried mederma, neosporin, vitamin E, lotions etc and nothing helped. They add personality.

Wash your face with hot water(to open the pores) and gentallyput pressure on either side of a pore to exract some oil. rinse with cold water(to close pores) repeat hot and cold water to really clean the pores. End with cold water to make sure your pores are closed tight up


I also exfoliate twice a week and those nore strips actually work to|||Using hot water and cold water to open and close your pores. But this doesn%26#039;t reduce the size of the pores permanently. It%26#039;s only for a few hours after you wash with cold water or rub ice that your pores look small but after some time the pores are again back to as there are. So, there%26#039;s no natural way of making them smaller.
