Does Powder/Mineral Powder foundation clog your pores? how bad is it realy for you?

i use the mineral powder and i absolutely love it. i do not feel that it clogs my pores as the liquid make up or cream make up has in the past. my face has been clear and has such a natural look. it is so light feeling that i cannot imagine it clogging your pores as I have had no problems with it myself. I absolutely love it. it does cost more than regular foundation but is worth it it goes a long way.|||no no no it does not clog your pores at all it is the best for you and actually heals your skin. mioneral makeup has to be at least 60% natural but you can get 100% natural ones too

its all good who ever told you otherwise DONT EVER TALK TO AGAIN!

lol |||Mineral make up shouldn%26#039;t clog your pores, no. You could sleep in it and it wouldn%26#039;t hurt your skin. I work with mineral makeup and people who use mineral make up, and while I%26#039;ve never actually seen it %26quot;heal%26quot; skin, here are some things I do know about it,

- Because it%26#039;s mineral it has -less- ingredients in it that will cause irritation to the skin... unless you have an allergy to Mica, or *Bismuth Oxychloride, both commonly found in most mineral makeups ( like bare minerals, for instance).

-If you%26#039;re interested in a great deal of coverage, then a mineral make up is not going to give it to you. People can argue with me on this one as much as they like, but I work with Bare Minerals every day and for people who have discoloration, hyperpigmentation, or acne, Bare doesn%26#039;t give them the coverage they%26#039;re hoping for.

-Some great mineral and natural lines, besides Bare Minerals, are,

-Tart... tart has pressed mineral powder (instead of loose) and a mineral pigment based liquid foundation that is really awesome.

-CoverFX... has both a pressed mineral powder and a loose mineral powder as well. CoverFX is a line that is dedicated to coverage and in my opinion will give you the best coverage for a mineral makeup.

-Sephora Brand... Sephora%26#039;s pressed mineral powder does NOT contain Bismuth Oxychloride or Mica.

-Korres natural line that has really great skin care and color.

(everything I%26#039;ve mentioned can be found on Sephora.com)

Mineral makeup is -great- if you are just interested in something gentle and natural, but it%26#039;s not -the only- answer, or a magic fix for wearing makeup and keeping your skin great. Unless you are -extremely- sensitive, and I do mean extremely, a good skin care regimen and wearing a good primer are the keys to giving you the freedom to wearing any kind of makeup without it have an adverse effect on your skin.

* If you%26#039;re allergic to Bismuth Oxychloride most mineral makeups will cause you to itch while wearing them.
