This is very awesome to help get rid of acne, whiteheads and blackheads.

You can do this steam bath up to twice a week. I wouldn%26#039;t recommend it anymore than that.

When you first begin, take short breaths until you get used to breathing the steam.

Steam the skin for five to seven minutes by positing your face 25 centimeters above the bowl filled with boiling water. Add a few drops of chamomile oil (soothes), or a couple of tea bags, or lavender (acts as a mild antiseptic) to the water.

Drape a large bath towel over your head and set a timer.

Steam your face for 15 minutes. When done, rinse with cold water to close your pores. Then follow with witch hazel which helps clean and close the pores.

Splash your face with ice cold water once a day to tighten pores and to increase circulation before stepping out. Toner also tighten pores.|||Wet your face with warm water and apply a gentle gel or foaming cleanser to remove makeup, surface dirt and oil.

Wash with a pouf or sponge to exfoliate dead skin.

Rinse thoroughly with warm water. Blot your face dry with towel.

Apply an astringent toner with a cotton ball.

Moisturize with a skin cream labeled %26quot;non-comedogenic%26quot; (meaning it won%26#039;t clog pores).

Repeat steps 1 through 5 twice daily to keep those pores unclogged.

Use it once a week, it feels like your rubbing grains of sand on your face but afterwards my skin always feels soft, clean and refreshed, and my pores are smaller. I also find my foundation sits nicer on my skin after using it. Neutrogena also have a pore refining gel that makes your skin nice and smooth.|||St. Ives makes a great apricot scrub that has a mild abrasive to clear pores. If you use it once or twice a day the way you would normally use soap, you%26#039;ll keep your pores clear and your skin will be ridiculously soft. As an added bonus, it%26#039;s really inexpensive. You can get a tub of it at Target for about $4 that will last several months.|||When you take a shower, use Aveeno face wipes, I forgot what they%26#039;re called, but I bought them at CVS (Savon) and they worked really well, tomorrow I%26#039;m getting more cuz I ran out. Don%26#039;t use the thing Vanessa Hudgens advertises on TV... it doesn%26#039;t do anything! Just makes your skin oily. The Aveeno wipes are in a small cream-colored container with a green cap. The actual wipes are 2-sided, about the size of the palm of your hand, and white. They work really well.|||use a facial scrub a couple times a week, wash with a moisturizing face wash the days between scrubs, use moisturizer under your make up and wash it all off every night before bed.
