I need an analogy for the nuclear membrane and the nuclear pores of a cell?

Its like the house(cell ) with a main door(call it cell membrane) and inside the house has diff rooms, one of the rooms(nucleus with nuclear membrane) with other door(nuclear pore) to enter in and go out of that particular room.

Nuclear membrane is the double membrane of the nucleus that encloses genetic material in eukaryotic cells. It separates the contents of the nucleus (DNA in particular) from the cytosol.

Numerous nuclear pores are present on the nuclear envelope to facilitate and regulate the exchange of materials (for example, proteins and RNA) between the nucleus and the cytoplasm.|||book store and reader

book store has the master book (DNA) it is copied (mRNA) that is handed out to readers (mRNA out of the nuclear pores) who read the book (translation into protein)

sort of odd I know but I was trying for a farmer and store which would be odder but couldn%26#039;t make it work...

hope this helps
